
| About the Chef: I have been creating in the kitchen since I was knee-high to a cutting board and standing on a chair next to my Mom. During a high school cooking class, my love bloomed. Soon I was cooking for all the family get-togethers and I knew that food was my passion. I graduated at the top of my class for the prestigious California Culinary Academy with a degree in Culinary Arts. Following graduation, I was recruited by one of the largest Marriott Hotels in the heart of San Francisco. There I learned the diverse techniques of California Cuisine, a blending of different ingredients and techniques from around the world. Being a military wife stationed in Germany allowed me to escape the commercial kitchen and to sample local European Cuisine and to bring my passion back into my home kitchen. Now settled in Canby, I have created For the Love of Food, through which I share my passion for food with others. |
